Payment

Payment is made in advance of the session via bank transfer. Fees will be reviewed on an annual basis and a 4-week notice will be given of any changes.

Cancellation

Sessions that are cancelled by you with less than 48-hour notice will be charged in full. When cancelling a session, please leave a message on my phone number 07470601781 or send an email to irinatimoninatherapy@gmail.com. I will also ensure that I give you at least 48 hours’ notice if I need to cancel a session, unless there are unexpected exceptional circumstances, in which case I will do my best to rearrange your session. If it is not possible, I will not charge you for the missed session.

Confidentiality

To ensure open exploration of the concerns that have brought you to therapy, everything said in the sessions remains strictly confidential except under the following circumstances:

(1) If I feel you are at serious risk of harming yourself or someone else, I may need to consult with your GP or another professional, however, I will try to discuss this with you first before taking any action when appropriate;

(2) If I am required by law, for example, if you are or you know of someone who is involved in a terrorist act, or I am required by a court order to disclose the information (e.g. in inquiries about serious crimes);

(3) It is an ethical requirement for therapists to have regular consultations with a clinical supervisor. My supervisor is bound by the same code of ethics and confidentiality as myself. During these consultations, your full identity will not be disclosed and only first names will be used.

Insurance

I hold Professional Liability and Indemnity Insurance with Holistic (reg. HIS70192) and I am registered with the ICO - Information Commissioner’s Office - UK’s independent body upholding information and personal data rights (reg. ZA749659).
